The latest version of the Affinda API (v3) moves to a more generalized state where the Document API - Document endpoint can ingest and return data from a wide range of different document types. This replaces the previous version (v2) that had specific endpoints available for each document type (e.g. Resumes, Job Description, Invoices, etc.).
Affinda has no plans to retire API v2 and it will continue to be supported for the foreseeable future.
We recognize that many of our customers have created integrations using this version, and given it is a significant structural change to move to v3, we will not be forcing existing customers to upgrade to the latest version. Any improvements to the underlying AI models will continue to be observed within API v2.
